Accessibility at Winter Pride

Accessibility at Winter Pride 2023

General information

Copenhagen Pride should be for the entire LGBTI+ community! We recognise that we are not there yet when it comes to accessibility, but we are working on it. If you have any questions or comments, please write to us at [email protected].

The majority of Winter Pride Week will take place at Huset-KBH, located at Rådhusstræde 13 in the centre of Copenhagen. All rooms in Huset-KBH are wheelchair accessible. Please note that there are cobblestones in the courtyard in front of the entrance.

Huset-KBH is on 4 floors. There is access to the ground floor (5 steps up from the entrance) and floors 1-4 via a staff-operated lift. During Winter Pride, there will be an info booth at the entrance with volunteers who can help you find the right venue.

The toilet facilities are located on the ground floor on the same level as Bastard Café. The toilet is a small disabled toilet. As you need to use the lift to enter the building and when you need to get around the building to get to the toilet facilities, for example, it is possible to contact us in advance at [email protected] and let us know when you will be arriving. You can also call us at 93977986 from 19-23 February between 16:30 and 21:00.

Guide dogs are allowed in Huset-KBH.

Huset-KBH does not have its own parking spaces, so you must use the public disabled parking spaces in the area. There are two close to the main entrance off Løngangsstræde 16 and one off Gåsestræde 1. The spaces are narrow but have a good length.

For more info, see godadgang.dk.

Photographers will be present in the House during Winter Pride. All photographers accredited by Copenhagen Pride will wear a badge. If you do not wish to be photographed, you can get a ‘DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH’ key chain at the info booth. There will be no photography at BSP events.

This page will be updated regularly.
