Accessibility at Winter Pride 2023

General information

Copenhagen Pride is for the entire LGBTI+ communtiy! We recognize that we still have room for improvement regarding accessibility, but we are committed to working on it. If you have any questions or comments, reach out to us at kontakt@copenhagenpride.dk.

The majority of Winter Pride Week will take place in Huset-KBH, located at Rådhusstræde 13 in central Copenhagen. All venues at Huset-KBH are wheelchair accessible. During Winter Pride Week, there will be an information booth at the entrance with volunteers who can help you to the right venue.

Copenhagen Pride is part of the sunflower scheme, which makes invisible disabilities visible and emphasizes that some people may require extra time, help, or patience. Read more here. You can get a Sunflower Lanyward from the info stand, located at the entrance to Huset. It’s free and no questions are asked about why you’re asking for the lanyard.

Photographers will be present at Huset during Winter Pride. All photographers accredited by Copenhagen Pride will wear a badge or smiliar. If you do not wish to be photographed, you can get a ‘DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH’ key chain at the info stand. There will be no photography at BSP events.

Venue: Huset-KBH

Huset-KBH has 4 floors. There is access to the ground floor (5 steps up from the entrance) and floors 1-4 via a staff-operated lift. During Winter Pride Week, there will be an information booth at the entrance with volunteers who can help you to the right venue.

The cinema is on the 3rd floor.

The toilet facilities are located on the ground floor on the same level as Bastard Café. The toilet is a small disabled toilet.

Since you have to use the elevator both to enter the building and when you need to go around the building to, for example, the toilet facilities, it is possible to contact us in advance at kontakt@copenhagenpride.dk and tell us when you will arrive or call 93847986 during the event from 16.30-21.00.

Assistance dogs are allowed at the venue.

Huset-KBH does not have its own parking spaces, so you have to use the public disabled parking spaces in the area. There are two close to the main entrance off Løngangsstræde 16 and one off Gåsestræde 1. The pitches are narrow but have a good length.

Distance to public transport 75 m.
