Winter Pride

For the 10th time, it is our pleasure to welcome you to Winter Pride, a chance to get close to each other in a cold time.

When we organised the event for the first time in 2015, it was with a vision to create a space where we can get close to each other, find warmth in community in a cold time and approach each other’s lived experiences with curiosity and an open mind. The event has grown over the years, but it still has the same core value of closeness for the LGBTI+ community in the Danish winter cold.

The theme for Winter Pride reflects this: As a continuation of the theme of last summer’s Pride, it is Come Together. It’s an open invitation to explore the many lived experiences that exist in our community and a call to prioritise solidarity and uplift each other’s voices. Together we are stronger – all year round!

In recent years, Huset-KBH in the centre of Copenhagen has been the setting for Winter Pride, and we are delighted that this is once again the case.

A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers who have put a huge amount of work into the Winter Pride programme and who will be working hard with our other Volunqueers throughout the week to ensure that our guests have a great experience. It can’t be said enough – without volunteers, there is no Pride!
