Where to ask for help and support
Copenhagen Pride is a small non-governmental organisation (NGO) established to organise events for the LGBTI+ community in Denmark.
This is the legal basis of our organisation and for this reason, Copenhagen Pride cannot provide help or assistance to individuals. We are not able to provide letters of invitation to attend or volunteer with Copenhagen Pride.
If you are in Denmark and need help
- If you think you may be in danger, call 1-1-2.
- The national organisation LGBT+ Danmark organise activities around the country. Read more about them here.
- If you are a refugee or asylum seeker in Denmark, LGBT Asylum may be able to help you.
- If you are from a minority ethnic or racialised community, Sabaah may be able to help you.
If you outside Denmark and need help
We suggest contacting an LGBTI+ organisation in the country where you are currently. You can find a list of organisations in most countries on the ILGA website here.
If there are no LGBTI+ organisations in your country and you need help to leave your current country we suggest contacting Rainbow Railroad or UNHCR who might be able to offer advice.
