WorldPride Marches are bringing rainbows into the streets!

Once again, we have shown creativity and innvation. You can now look forward to not just one, but six parades that go by the name WorldPride Marches.

Raise the flag on Saturday 21 August

The marches will begin at different times between 1500 and 1600, and the routes are between 2km and 3.7km in length. These timings and routes are designed to ensure that the marches arrive at Fælledparken at different times.

Each march will include up to 1,000 participants. Vehicles are not permitted. We will provide music to accompany the march.

Get ready to raise your flag, wave your banner, and raise awareness of issues facing LGBTI+ people here and abroad!

Important visibility

After almost two years without the big manifestation for LGBTI+ rights which is our usual Copenhagen Pride Parade, we can feel that the need is great for us to get out into the streets. Around the world, we are seeing restrictions of the rights of LGBTI+ people – most recently with the new law in Hungary, which bans the teaching of homosexuality and being transgender in schools. At home, we also still have some way to go, and therefore it is all the more important that we get visibility and the opportunity to make our voices heard and put LGBTI+ issues on the agenda!

Registration is open now. LGBTI+ groups and organisations and our partner organisations can register before 1 August. After this date, we will release any remaining spaces for everyone.

See you at WordPride and EuroGames where #YouAreIncluded!
